Set in stunning surroundings, the brief for this project was to turn a dark kitchen/dining space into an open plan Kitchen/Dining/Family space, with split level terraces overlooking the River Dee.
After looking into various design and layout options, we agreed a proposal with the client and obtained a cost estimation for the building work. Although this cost was based on initial drawings (Feasibility stage) the estimated cost matched the final build cost.
- Following completion of the Feasibility Study, we obtained the planning and building warrant approvals from the council.
- Arranged competitive tender, and appointed the chosen builder on a fixed price contract.
- Carried out site inspections, liaising with the client, builder and council during the construction stage.
